After a trip down to the South Island (which you can check out a whole smorgasbord of photos from on my Instagram) I’m back and bearing gifts. Well, a gift, in the form of a short story set in the world of the Sandformer called A Foundling’s Purpose, which gives context to something that no one knows about within the events of the book. Ok that sounds bad, but I think it still works as an independent piece. Regardless, it’s some content.

Hopefully I’ll get around to doing a couple other short Sandformer pieces like this one eventually, but don’t hold your breath. Though in saying that, I do actually have another one that I wrote sometime last year, but I’ve never even gone back to edit it, so who knows what horrors lie waiting for me within that document.

That’s it for now, I’ve got a fresh batch of ten books to read (damn you book fair!), a new chapter of the Sandformer to write, and of course I’ll be very busy with ignoring the fact that The Last Echo was supposed to be fixed by the end of this month.
